Everyday we are faced with challenging ourselves, pushing ourselves, striving for more and overcoming our shrinking violet. I heard the song "Lighthouse" the other day and connected more with the chorus than the verses however I digress. The chorus to Fantasia's song has become a personal theme song for me when I feel Violet "entering the building", I hum the chorus a little. It sounds cliche however it helps to motivate and focus my energy positively because Shrinking Violet...is a trip.

Being a leader means putting yourself in situations that will scare you to your core. After moving past nervousness and anxiety you become aware that what you needed to succeed was inside you the whole time.
